Pushing the Perimeter: How Digital Leaders are Securing the Dispersed Enterprise

Remote working and increased digital collaboration increased during the pandemic and in many cases have had a major impact on approaches to cybersecurity. Businesses had to make rapid shifts to the cloud without the time to fully consider the security implications. Security threats and challenges were evolving, with the priority being securing dispersed networks with no clear border – ‘perimeter less’ networks.

In this exclusive roundtable event, attendees were invited to submit challenges they were facing. These were then voted on by their fellow participants, the most popular being discussed in the group.

TechPros brought together senior IT leaders to discuss the cybersecurity issues resulting from the increase of digital collaboration since Covid-19. The challenges discussed were: 1) What approaches can be taken against customer data phishing? (Both generic and targeted) and 2) Working from home has meant that our attack surfaces have increased. How can we protect ourselves from cyber-attack? The context of each challenge was discussed which flowed into a Q&A as well as a discussion around the solutions.
